A metaphor for beating you're own depression and living a happy life. A man in the future is depressed and has nothing to live for, so he travels into deep space searching for something to live for and runs into a wormhole. On the other side is a version of himself that is happy and has a family and everything he ever wanted. They both start to die because two versions of the same being cannot exist in one dimension. Then the depressed version allows the happy version to kill the depressed one and the happy one lives. The depressed version ended his life on a positive note however for he finally found the happiness he has been searching for all his life.
